Benztown, a global leader in radio imaging, voiceover, programming and jingles, P1 Media Group, providing research, strategies and consulting to radio stations worldwide, Radiodays Europe, Radiodays Asia and RDE Podcast Day announce the nominees of “The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards” and call on radio and podcast professionals worldwide to vote online now for the best ideas presented by these nominees. The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards will honor radio professionals from around the world that have used their brands and platforms in creative and innovative ways to better serve their listeners, partners and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The nominees were selected from more than 300 ideas nominated by industry professionals around the world. The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards will be presented at the Radiodays Europe conference in Lisbon, Portugal, on December 14, 2020.
Online voting for the nominees will begin at 9:30am EST on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, and will continue through Thursday, September 17, 2020. Participants will vote on all categories and have a chance to win one of five conference registrations to their choice of Radiodays Europe, Radiodays Asia or RE Podcast Day 2021. To vote, visit:

The Coronavirus Radio Ideas Awards will recognize the best ideas in 10 categories, including: Best Social Media Video Content, Best Virtual Event, Best Parody, Best Virtual Concert, Best On-Air Promo, Best Community Service, Best Social Media Visual, Best Community Spirit, Best Sales Promotion and Best Mega Promotion. A further two categories, Best Podcast and Best Journalistic Content, will also be part of the awards. Nominations for these two special categories can be submitted to the Facebook page #Coronavirusradioideas closing date 7th September. These two special categories are being judged by a panel of experts.

About Radiodays Europe, Radiodays Asia & Podcast Day
The meeting point for the world of radio and audio Radiodays Europe was born in 2010 as a response to the needs of the European industry, public and private, to come together to discuss the new media challenges, across borders. It has since grown to become the most important annual conference for radio professionals with over 1500 participants from 62 countries.
Radiodays Asia was launched with the same aims as those in Europe but for the Asian radio and podcast industry. Started in 2019 the first event was a success with 400+ speakers and attendees from the majority of countries in the region. The next event will be held in March 2021.
