Radio Ads Dropped 4.3 Percent In This Region
In December 2019, radio advertising revenues about 30.2 million euros fell by 4.3% compared to the same month in 2018.
This according to the data collected by the FCP-Assoradio Observatory in Italy, overall in 2019 the collection of radio medium grew by 1.7% compared to the previous year.
Fausto Amorese, president of FCP-Assoradio, comments: “At the end of the year, the radio medium remained largely in positive territory: + 1.7% in the January-December period, as shown by the survey of the FCP-Assoradio Observatory. In December, we recorded a 4.3% drop in advertising sales, which can be explained by the non-linear trend that seems to characterize the advertising market this year. We consider that in 2018 December it had grown by 7.9% compared to the previous year.
