Benztown Branding’s Iron Imager 2013 – Who Will Make The Cut?

Benztown, an international radio imaging, production library, programming and voice-over services company with over 1,500 affiliations on six different continents, today announced that it is sponsoring the second annual Iron Imager Contest, an international radio imaging contest where production professionals compete for cash and other prizes and the coveted title of World’s Best Imager. Challengers will demonstrate their imaging skills using audio ingredients handpicked from Benztown’s 20 production libraries, paired with contestants’ original scripts. This year, Benztown has committed additional resources to enhance challengers’ submissions, offering for free the voice talents of many of Benztown’s newest world-class voice talent, including Joe Cipriano, Mark Fisher, Donna Frank, Jack Dennis, Mike Bratton, and Jamie Lee. The contest begins today and runs through April 11, 2013.

Benztown’s Iron Imager Contest is open to all radio imaging, production and programming professionals (18 or older) and will be judged by top producers and programmers from the U.S. and around the world. The winner of Round 1 will face last year’s Iron Imager, Paul Duffy of Dublin, Ireland, in a head-to-head live competition at the All Access Worldwide Radio Summit on May 3, 2013, at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA.

Andreas Sannemann, Benztown CEO, said, “The Iron Imager Contest is the first of its kind and Benztown is proud to elevate the highest quality imaging in the industry with this adrenaline-filled competition. Last year’s inaugural Iron Imager Contest was such a success, we’ve decided to up the ante this year by offering the services of the industry’s top voiceover artists, who will voice challengers’ original scripts for free.”

Dave “Chachi” Denes, Benztown President, said: “All imaging professionals should throw their hats into the Iron Imager ring this year. It’s tremendous visibility for their talent and work, plus it’s a ton of fun. Each contestant has access to the same world-class workparts, which levels the playing field by offering the best components available to every imaging professional, regardless of market size or budgetary limitations. The world will be watching to see who captures the title of World’s Best Imager, so the stakes are high and the competition will be fierce. Get ready to rumble!”
