Star 96 Country Imaging by Studios Peak

Studios Peak announced their new imaging package for country station Star 96.

CHVR-FM is a radio station originating from Canada, it is found at the FM Band 96.7  in Pembroke, Ontario.

The station was first opened  in 1942 as AM 1340 CHOV by Ottawa Valley Broadcasting. At the later part of the 1940s CHOV transferred to AM 1350. During 1961, Ottawa Valley also opened  CHOV-TV.

During the years 2005 and 2006, Standard Broadcasting removed employees at CHVR-FM, eliminating the station’s traffic and copy departments (centralizing them at CKQB-FM Ottawa) and downsizing the station’s newsroom to one full-time and one part-time staffer.

In October 2007, Astral Media acquired Standard Broadcasting’s terrestrial radio and television assets, including CHVR.
