10 Legendary Stations Of The Past Decade

Nominations for the 2011 Marconi Radio Awards are being accepted starting now until May 31, 2011. Stations in 21 categories will be honored.

The awards to be given will be:  Legendary Stations Of The Year, Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year, Stations of the Year by Market Size, On Air Personality of the Year, and Station of the Year by format.

This year’s Marconis will be the first for this decade. The event is said to be a celebration of radio’s inspiring stories of success. The category ‘Legendary Station Of The Year’, for one, has been given to US radio stations that have stood the test of time.
