New station Radio Nerazzurra takes advantage of increasing popularity of digital audio
Football is a great passion of Italians. For this reason Triboo – Group active in the E-Commerce and Digital Advertising sector, listed on the MTA market – presented the first digital audio project entirely dedicated to those who follow Inter and football: the Radio Nerazzurra web radio, aired from the studios of Viale Sarca in Milan.
The new broadcaster, presented today during an event at the offices of Triboo (publisher of this online magazine), aims to become a reference point for the world of Inter, leveraging the skills and professionalism of the journalists involved, from collaboration with the editorial staff of Fcinternews to that of the most famous commentators in the football scene.
The broadcaster will offer a multifaceted schedule : from live broadcasts to update the fans in real time, to a production of author podcasts dedicated to the most memorable matches, exclusive interviews and interventions by the protagonists of the Inter world, insiders and fans, who will be able to tell their Nerazzurri passion. Cross coverage from team news to pre and post game comments, from updates on the transfer market to training information.
The real challenge is to become the reference radio for an extended and heterogeneous fan base , distributed throughout Italy and in different parts of the world with a high potential of users, between 6 and 8 million. With this objective, the radio takes advantage of the opportunities of apps and the web, able to quickly reach a wide audience by overcoming geographical distances.
The streaming radio enjoyed via the app is in fact an instrument increasingly used by listeners, especially driving, thanks to the new hi-fi devices mounted on board the cars, which allow the mirroring of audio apps downloaded to the smartphone.
The broadcaster exclusively linked to the Nerazzurri team is added to the already existing Radio Bianconera, presented last April, and Radio Rossonera , demonstrating the growing popularity of Talk Radio in Italy, characterized by a verticalization of contents and already widely spread in other countries.
The new Radio Nerazzurra project will not only be radio but will also include a series of ad hoc audio productions that will have the most popular podcast platforms and well-known smart speakers as the main means of dissemination. Spreaker, Itunes Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify, Alexa and Google Home will in fact be an integral part of the radio production strategy.
For example, recent research reveals that in the United States listening to FM radio broadcasts has fallen to 52% compared to an increase in digital audio listening. In particular, podcasts are on the rise, just think that from 2015 to date there has been an increase in ratings of 217%, and the male target who listens to podcasts is mainly interested in sports insights.
Finally, the webradio will actively involve its listeners, collecting phone calls and messages during the live radio broadcast, as well as using social networks like Facebook and Instagram to give voice to the opinions of the fans, through surveys and direct testimonials from users in UGC (User Generated Contents), to create a real Inter community. The Inter clubs , will be directly interested in the realization of the contents.
Radio Nerazzurra’s envoys, in fact, will be in the Nerazzurri club headquarters, following the matches away, experiencing the excitement of the ninety minutes directly with the Inter fans.
