Watch: MediaCorps’ Radio80 Campaign

Singapore’s Mediacorp is celebrating 80 years of radio and television excellence in 2016.

On 1 June 1936, radio transmission started in Singapore with one radio station working from an administration working in Empress Place.

From a solitary station, Mediacorp today has a system of 13 FM stations that show principally in the four national dialects.

Mediacorp’s radio stations assume an essential part in the lives of Singaporeans connecting with more than 80% of the populace.

By and large, each Mediacorp radio audience spends more than three hours a day tuning into their most loved stations.
