Underground was created in 1989. For over ten years, the President Steve Labbé became the producer for different radio stations: CKOI, Énergie, Rock Détente and Contact Fm (France). During this period, the company also expand its services in advertisement and postproduction.

In 2010, Underground, in collaboration with RDS, was awarded the Promaxbda North America Advertising Award (Promotion & Marketing, General Branding Image) and, in association with Scalpel Design, for the Grafika contest (Motion Design and Culture category).

Since the adventure began, the team has constantly grown and surrounded itself with great talent. Underground took advantage of these years of production and operation to develop its talents in sound postproduction.

Here are are a few of Underground’s projects: TVA network (“Salut Bonjour”, “Loto-Québec”, “La classe de 5e“, Sound design for TVA’S main channel as well as TVA Sports logo, Canal Évasion (Pro-Tour), RDS (promotions), Nikon, Vidéotron, Desjardins, Familiprix, Gameloft, Harley Davidson, Multi-Prêts (the television peacock campaign), Husqvarna, Dooly’s, National Bank, Journal de Montréal, Triotech, Oberson, Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie, Grand Prix du Canada, Toyota and Nez Rouge (the 2010 campaign).

The company has also been involved in corporate productions for Apple, Astral Media, Western Union and Pharmascience. In addition, Underground participated in the creation of the soundtrack for French-language actor and comedian Réal Béland’s movie ‘’Nos Voisins Dhantsu’’.
