After 12 years in Staffordshire, and after creating over half a million pieces of audio, S2blue are pleased to announce they are moving back to where jingles all started in the UK. From 2nd January 2014 S2blue and AudioSweets will be based in the famous St Martin’s Studios in Manchester, UK. Due to the recent success of AudioSweets imaging, the constant growth in commercial production, jingles and music; we’re going back to where it all began.

St Martin’s Studios has homed media companies for over 30 years, most famously Alfasound. The jingle masters who created music and commercials for the vast majority of stations in the UK at one point or another. Many of the loved jingles of all time were created within the walls of St Martin’s.

The changing face of radio and the multi-platform services S2Bllue offer has created such an influx of work which in-turn has naturally created this move to bigger multimedia studios and facilities. S2blue is producing radio and TV commercials for many national and local clients; they’ve become benchmark leaders in eLearning audio, creating tens of thousands of files for blue-chip companies in over 10 languages.

AudioSweets imaging and jingles are heard on over 50 ILR stations in the UK and hundreds all around the world. October sees the launch of our latest innovation – a service which will offer the whole media industry something fresh and new.

Simon Prentice, Managing Director of S2blue and partner in AudioSweets said ‘It’s an exciting time for us and great we’re able to expand in an industry where there is so much consolidation. Manchester is increasingly becoming the media capital of the UK and we can’t wait to be back. On a personal note I’m really looking forward to returning to St Martin’s, I spent a lot of my youth there with Steve England , or as I know him; Dad, watching as he created jingles for so many stations. In fact one of our new rooms was Steve’s old office
back in the day! It feels like I’m coming home!’

S2blue is also looking for new people to join the team from producers and composers to production co-ordinators, so keep an eye on their Facebook page for more details, or register your interest by emailing simon [at] s2blue.com
