Who Is Jay Helmus?

I started my career in radio broadcasting.

I’ve been doing the sound and audio production basically since I started.

Training my ear has by far been the most challenging aspect of production and also the most rewarding.

It’s amazing how different you can make something sound with a little knowledge about EQ and compression.

It’s taken alot of work to develop my skills, but being a musician – I’ve loved every second of it and I relish all the time I’ve spent in the studio making great sounds! These days, I’m still working in radio, and also offering freelance services for all kinds of audio production projects.

Music, voice, mastering, mixing, audiobooks, speeches, demos etc…
