Evella FM Jingles by Brandy and Why Accent In Jingles Is Important
It always excites me to hear a jingle package produced for a station in the Asia and The Pacific. As one being based here, I know when a jingle is just made right.
And you know how it goes. Radio stations here in this part of the planet, when they want their station name sung in a jingle they want it sung the way it should be. No American or foreign accent, just the right accent.
Back in the 90s, when all jingles here were sung by Dallas companies, some station names (especially in local language) were sung inappropriately. It was so bad, the ratings of one particular station dipped.
Recently a station in Indonesia went to Brandy Jingles for its ID Jingles. And was really impressed with the perfect accent by its vocalists.

Brandy welcomes Evella FM to the worldwide growing Brandy Jingles family. Evella FM (based in Borneo, Indonesia) made a selection out of the huge Brand Pack jingle collection and chose a tight female vocal sound. The Brandy wizards made it sound like it was custom made.
The package is a blend of cuts from Enjoy Vol. 1 & 2. The original package was sung with a large vocal group of 4 singers for 4FM.
The resing with 2 female voices gives the package a more contemporary feel without losing the warmth and positive energy of the original.
