From 1976 to 1993, JAM created all of the station jingles for BBC Radio 1.

They were heard by millions of listeners across the UK.

Here is some JAM home-video taken during one of the vocal sessions for the 1984 package.

The vocals, as well as the music tracks, were recorded at our previous studio on Insurance Lane in Dallas, Texas.

Representing Radio 1 is Johnny Beerling, who pretends to have a thick cockney accent when asked about the singers’ British pronunciation skills.

The videos are originally posted on YouTube by JAM Creative Productions Dallas.
